Thank you so much to all of you who prayed for me last night. Amazingly, my headache never fully developed and I slept much, much better. My tummy seems ok now too. Still took a little while to fall asleep but nothing like the previous nights. I felt very relaxed and it especially helped knowing people were praying for me. Thank you for all your kind emails and texts. I still feel a bit spacey today but have much more energy than yesterday. It will probably take a few more nights of good sleep to help me get back to normal but hopefully the vicious cycle is broken. I feel so thankful to God. I read this this morning:
Psalm 18:6 But in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.
And verses 16-19 – 16 He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the LORD supported me. He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.
We are all going to Puxton Park today for Aliyah’s birthday outing and will be meeting up with a family from our old homeschool club. Pray for energy for me especially and for Aliyah to feel special. Tomorrow is her birthday and we’ll be having dinner and cake with Peter’s parents in the evening. If it comes to mind, I would value prayer for continued good sleep and energy in the coming days. Thanks for standing with us!
