Every woman (and man) will deal with a miscarriage very individually, but I am sharing some of the things that helped us process our grief in the hope that they might help some of you.
Books: (in the order I read them and found them helpful)
Losing Sammy, by Valerie Ling (if you read just one, read this one)
Silent Grief, by Clara Hinton
Safe in the Arms of God, by John MacArthur
Holding onto Hope, by Nancy Guthrie
Hearing Jesus Speak into Your Sorrow, by Nancy Guthrie
The One Year Book of Hope, by Nancy Guthrie
The Miscarriage Secret, by Caitlin Seccombe Lubinski
Miscarriage, by Linnea Ransom
I Will Carry You, by Selah
This organization does regular special services around the U.K. for parents who have lost children through miscarriage or infant loss. Peter and I attended one a couple months after we lost our baby and found it incredibly meaningful and touching. We cried through the whole thing but found it healing and a way to honour the life of our baby.
