Home and Away

My flying visit to Malta seemed to be over as soon as it began. I arrived on Tuesday, spoke each morning and evening while onboard, then returned home today. The next months are very exciting for the ships and I would encourage you to check out their schedule and pray for them in these next months.

Today I flew home and met up with Melanie briefly at a service station (my parents were with the children). Melanie is away at a women’s retreat this weekend and we are all hoping she is really encouraged and refreshed by the experience. It does mean surviving at home without her, but we should manage that (parenting-lite is how I would put it . . . i.e. no laundry, less healthy meals, etc.) Sunday morning I am scheduled to speak in Dorking though, so that will mean an early start for us all and I may have to do the girls’ hair – the greatest challenge of all when Melanie is missing!
