It’s been a fun month of birthday festivities! We have celebrated three Mead girls’ birthdays so far. Hannah has her birthday on Monday. Here are some photos for you:

We’ve been blessed to have Peter’s parents nearby so they can come celebrate birthdays with us. Here are three generations of Mead men.

Sweet Kaylah’s birthday was first. We had a Curious George party and invited anyone from church who wanted to come celebrate with us.

We had a full house and Kaylah enjoyed it all . . . except for when a large number of people sang Happy Birthday to her. The attention was all a bit much and she burst into tears. But she was soon smiling again!

She was thrilled to receive a box drum as a gift from several relatives. She’s already played once for church!

Our sweet friend Olivia has been here with us for all the celebrations. She has been a great help to us and she feels like part of the family now. We will miss her when she goes home to Chicago next Friday.
We thank God for our precious girls. In a day and age where baby girls are not valued and many are destroyed before or after birth, we feel so privileged that God has blessed us with four of them. And we hold our heads high and say that we LOVE girls! I will post some more photos next week after Hannah’s birthday. She arrived home safely from Italy today! From all accounts it sounds like she had a wonderful time. But we are super glad to have her back.
