Trip Report – US Oct 2012

The original invitation came from Emmaus Bible College. It was great to visit the college Melanie attended for the two years before we met.  I spoke at chapel every morning, taught class sessions, evening sessions, etc.  I got to enjoy lunches with various faculty and interactions with students.  It was a busy, but very enjoyable week. I am impressed with Emmaus and hope they will thrive for years to come!

Mariah really enjoyed her week with Melanie’s Aunt Carol in Chicago.  I was able to schedule visits to four churches over the two weekends there.  It was great to see friends again, especially so soon after our summer visit. The second weekend included a one day Cor Deo seminar too.  All in all a very busy ten days away with about twenty-four teaching or preaching sessions.

It is good to be home and altogether again.  This week we have been moving bedrooms around, so the house looks like a train hit it…all good fun and a chance to purge a bit!

Today I am in Exeter for Transformission. This is a great student conference launching another year of outreach on campuses across the southwest. I have just one workshop, plus a breakfast with Mark from the Cor Deo 2011 team!
