We were enjoying a discussion at dinnertime. The Rich Young Ruler and Jesus’ statement about the impossibility of a rich man entering the kingdom of heaven (like a camel going through the eye of a needle). Eventually we figured out together that when Jesus affirmed that what is impossible with man is possible for God, he was referring to the salvation of a rich person rather than the camel and needle stunt. However, before we got to that understanding, Aliyah was obviously intrigued by things that may or may not be possible for God. “Can God make a fish survive in sour cream?” Interesting question. I can honestly say I’ve never given it much thought until today.
