Following up on the previous post, I’d like to report that my time in Holland went very well. It was good to catch up with old friends and to make some new ones too. I spoke five times, including a very well attended workshop on Bible reading. It was great to be able to speak on subjects like the uniqueness of Christ and being people of grace and integrity, as well as the authority of Scripture and loving and valuing people. I came home on Wednesday, but as I write this various groups are heading off from the conference to their next destination. Please pray for them as they travel and settle into whatever comes next for them.
Since getting home we’ve managed to get our UK prayer letters sent out (I say we, but the children did all the work, which was a massive help). Tomorrow we begin a month of Sunday ministry at Ladyfield and would really value prayer for the month to start well. It has been encouraging to see the level of prayer and enthusiasm within the church.
