Thanks for all of you who prayed . . . my headache did not develop, praise the Lord. I am still feeling pretty wiped out and it’s been a very tough parenting day but I am thankful for no headache. My children are blessings from the Lord – even on days when I feel like I’ve been through a war. 🙂 Sometimes you have to go through the tough fight of discipline to gain peace in the end. (Proverbs 29:17 – Discipline your son and he will give you peace. He will bring delight to your soul.) But it doesn’t make it easy. I know that I am in a spiritual battle too and need to cling to the Lord and draw strength from Him. Lord willing, tomorrow there will be more joy and obedience and patience in our home. We are going to Peter’s parents’ house to watch the Royal Wedding and then coming back here to join a neighbourhood party. I have heard from Peter that things are going well. He is preaching tomorrow to finish off the week’s sessions so he asked for special prayer for that. And then they are up at 3am their time the next day and heading back home again. As always I will be so grateful to see him. (Still haven’t got a chance to put the photos up, but hopefully will do it soon!)
