Just a quick update, hopefully it will be coherent . . . last night was really rough again. My tummy was really upset, Kaylah was up in the night crying, Aliyah had a nosebleed and I just had trouble sleeping even when I had the chance. Today has turned out better than I expected. The kids are feeling a lot better and even had a little dance to some VeggieTales Christmas music earlier. I really feel God has given me supernatural strength to do what I needed to today. And the kids and I had a special time together as I was putting them to bed. I feel encouraged. However, Peter has now gone down with the virus! My poor husband . . . after taking care of all of us so sacrificially . . . I feel so bad for him. He is in the middle of it now so hopefully by morning he’ll be past the worst. Please pray for sleep for the rest of us and for a quick version of the bug for him. My tummy feels a lot better tonight and Kaylah seems more relaxed so hopefully it will be a better night. Off to make another fresh bed and settle down for the night. Thank you so much to everyone who is praying for us and those who are offering practical help. We feel very loved.
