Alright, here are some pictures of the time near Lake Como. We stayed in the town of Argegno…
Here’s a closer look with some people in the picture…
We took the cable car (steepest in Europe, apparently), up above Argegno…
Here’s the view one way down the lake…
Lots of crosses in Italy (catholic country, of course), but that doesn’t mean lots of awareness of the gospel…
We enjoyed a boat ride across the lake to Varenna…
Followed by a hike up to the castle up above (some people have it easy!)…
We met up with some of the locals (this guy never seemed to warm up to us at all)…
A flying hair eyes squinting windy sunny family photo…
We also drove up to “The Balcony of Italy” and looked down over Lugano…
And enjoyed a few minutes of throwing icy snowballs at each other, but it was too cold to stay long…
Down in Menaggio little boy Mead could have fun without getting frostbitten fingers…
And little boys love to play…
We also met up with my parents, so the children had a rare time with all four grandparents (sorry, no picture of another Mead “boy” hanging around in the playground)…
So there you go, relaxing holiday, good company, great weather, happy children…
